How are reports handed?
How are reports handled? When you make a Speak Up Line report, the matter is taken seriously. Your communications with the Speak Up Line, managed by our independent, third-party Convercent, and the Darling Ingredients investigators are kept confidential. You are not required to identify yourself and may remain anonymous, except where required by law. The Corporate Compliance department oversees all reports to ensure consistent handling and post-close follow-ups.
What happens after I make a report? Once a report is received, it is automatically routed to the appropriate internal Darling personnel to investigate. The investigator will acknowledge receipt of the report in the tool, investigate the report allegations, and will determine next steps until the case is closed. You will be notified when the investigation is complete, and appropriate actions taken. Due to the confidential nature of the investigation, you will not be given details of the findings.
How can I see the status of the case or communicate with the investigator? When you make a report, record your access number and password. This way you can login to the Speak Up Line and access your case status. You may also communicate with the investigators here and provide additional information or documents at any time.
